Installing Drupal

How to install drupal to my cpanel?

Hi,

I am trying to install Drupal using the Simple install of Drupal on XAMPP directions.

I followed all of the instructions to the letter several times but when I get to the "Select installation profile" part I get this error after stage 2 "Choose language" after pressing the save and continue button:

Fatal error: Interface 'DatabaseStatementInterface' not found in C:\xampp\htdocs\drupal\includes\database\prefetch.inc on line 22

i am looking for a basic distribution with commerce or a documentation that indicate which module install

I uploaded the folders from the drupal website in my webroot: /public_html.
When i open my website than i don 't see the installation paga from drupal?
Do is miss something or do i have to do more?

Hi all,

I use Drupal 7 and I would like to know a good way to place videos into blocks.
At this moment I have installed the Kaltura module as well, but I don't manage to get a video into a block.

For example: I have a video which I would like to place into the second right bar of my homepage www.drakenbloedboom.com
But as well on different pages of my choice

I am open to any suggestions.

What type of modules do I use best? And are there useful tutorials?

I'm just starting to learn Drupal, so maybe I'm missing something... but near as I can tell, Drupal 7 core does not ship with CCK, which I was led to believe that it does, as module for it end with Drupal 6.x

Anybody? I can't find matching documentation about this via Google searches, so I'm thinking I'm just not seeing something.
