Installing Drupal

configure 'top nodes' block & configure 'who is online' block
Changes in the configuration have no effect. Values remain asthea are after submiting changes

Just wondered if someone familiar with Drupal could answer a few questions. I currently use pMachine (90% happily) but want to consider Drupal because going forward I need multiple taxonomies that have multi-levels.

1. Is there a script to convert pM MySQL database to Drupal db? How difficult would it be to write a script to move at least the entries, not the categories?

2. Does Drupal allow one to publish at a future date/time? (So a visitor after that time sees the content but not before.)

I translated my drupal into German, had no problem with presentation of German special letters (Umlaute,ß). But in the news feed these lettere are misrepresented. So what to do to fix this?
(Surprisingly I have another drupal set up 1 week ago, also 4.2rc where this problem does not exist. Do not know why there is a problem with German letters in one case but not in other case)

How is this done. Every piece of content I create will only show up unless I am logged in. I do not want to force everyone to create an account to see most of the content.

then the graphics appear.

This happens upon every visit to a web page. This happens even when the pages load quickly. I understand if this happens with my first visit, but shouldn't the graphics load immediately upon the second visit to the web page as the images are now stored in the Temp file? This may be a limitation of the PC that I am using, but I would appreciate an explanation of why this may be happening.

Everything is in the title : when using the image module, I can select the file I want to upload, then preview it, but when I click on "submit", I've got that kind of errors:
