Installing Drupal

Is it possible to have Multbi-Blogs on drupal42, more blogs running on one platform and how to do this?

it should be something REALLY easy to do on those CMS thingies....

I just want to add a link to my menu (the one at the top) which reffers a page outside drupal (ex: http://www.myothersite.com).

It seems that i just can't find the way to do that :(

I have installed drupal 4.1.0 on Apache 1.3.27 (OpenBSD 3.3).

I am having problems activating themes. I select the theme I want activated and click save settings etc. I go back to the home page and the site doesn't display any themes, even the original these has disapeared. Just a plane page with the username and password loggin box and the rest of the links.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem ?

I just installed drupal, yet I get "You are not authorized to access this page." no matter what I do. I cannot add the first user. Could this be because I am not on the local machine? It is on my linux server which does not have a GUI. How can I do this?

In the xtemplate I am unable to center the page and have the "inside" tables render properly i.e. align to the left. So that it all appears like a paper page on the screen. This is a known bug in i.e. All the tables center. Renders perfectly in Mozilla. Bear in mind (it appears to me) that the xtemplate theme is broken without !DOCTYPE XTML statement. So I'm left wondering if there is a fix. [I could swear it worked last week in another iteration.] Am I SOL?

Hi all,

I've finally install Drupal and all the needed system requirements.

Pointed my browser to the server I install Drupal on:

http://172.168.1.1/drupal/index.php

I click on the "Create new account" and it takes me to a Forbidden page (403) because of "-Indexes" option in my httpd.conf file.

The access_log file shows the following entry:

172.168.1.1 - - [23/Jun/2003:10:00:41 +1000] "GET /drupal/ q=user/register HTTP/1.0" 403 283

What am I doing wrong here ?
