Installing Drupal

trying to add language, the upload of .po file seems not to work, I arrive on an error non existing page

I installed drupal 4.6.5. Did all the setups for database etc.

I started the index page and created the first user.
Checked database .. user has been created.

But when I click on adminstration section I get a page which has message listing.

I am new to Drupal and have been searching on google before posting here.

Kindly help me in sorting out the issue.

I wanted to ask whether there is a official documentation in Drupal 4.6 about the safe mode issue. I find some threads about this issue, but no clear statements.
Does Drupal 4.6 support Safe Mode or are there some problems?

I've installed 4.6.5 using fantastico/cpanel. I set up my new account, logged in, tried to access domain/admin, but get the error: Access Denied: You are not authorized to use this page.

I've looked through troubleshooting FAQ and all of the forum topic threads and haven't found a solution.

I'm just getting Drupal running on a WAMP5 installation on WinXP (SP2). Using Apache 1.3.33, PHP 5.0.4, MySQL 4.1.10a-nt extension mysqli

When I request a password, and I put the wrong email address in for the user, I get an error message splashed on my browser annoucing a duplicate entry ' ' for key 2 and a query error when it tries to insert the new password. I can certainly see that it won't work if I provide the wrong email address, but it's a rather ungraceful display.

Any advice for controlling error message display?

I have had Drupal running now for about 10 weeks. I have had one problem plague me since the beginning... every so often I get the following error
"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare conf_init() (previously declared in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\includes\bootstrap.inc:45) in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\includes\bootstrap.inc on line 44"
