Installing Drupal

i am hosted by blue host and i can not use this clean url

i enable them in administer and still they do not work

this is tha main thing that is bothering me, pleae someone help me

i also renamed to .htaacces file

why is that happening, is it possible to set this thing somewhere

all other cms have this option

please help

I'm two for two so far, with great help from giving souls. Here's another one:

I've got Drupal running under WAMP5 on my XT (SP2) box. Odd problems because I don't have a mail server running on it, but I'm patient. So, I tried to access my little Drupal site from another machine on the same network. I can see it, because it starts (way slowly) but it's all weird: the style doesn't show, it's just raw text. And when I try to log in, it tells me: "The connect was refused when attempting to contact localhost."

For the past day - whenever I update any information within drupal's admin area, the system displays an 'access denied' page.

- This behavior only started in the past day.
- The requested changes occur despite the errant access denied page display.
- The problem occurs during nearly any settings modifiction operation.
- I have 'super user' role with access set for all modules in admin->access-control

so i can show some commercials in them

i am using 4,7 and pushbutton theme

Hi,
I am very new to Drupal and still learning it. I installed it using cPanel on my www.mydomain.com/drupal but after learning few things about it, I want to have drupal on my subdomains like xyz.mydomain.com and abc.mydomain.com. HOW TO DO THIS ? Infact I am also thinking to change my main site www.mydomain.com to drupal site. I am sure that I need to do some tweek but where and what ?
