Module Not Available to Enable

I have dropped 2 new modules into the module directory. Both created the cooresponding directory and correct permissions. When I go to Admin -> modules, they are not available so I can't enable them. What could be going on?

Multi-site Problems

I can't figure out how to get multiple sites working off of one install. Can someone tell me if I'm missing something? My original site is at www.eclipsemediaco.net , and I want to do an additional site as a test at www.eclipsemediaco.net/waverleybrookfarm. I named a folder in my Sites directory called eclipsemediaco.net.waverleybrookfarm and put the settings.php in it. I created a seperate database, and have my settings.php file pointed to it.

first time startup fail

Hello,

Upon first connection to my first, shiny, fresh, new drupal install I am,
sadly greeted with:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_set_save_handler() in
/var/www/localhost/htdocs/drupal/includes/session.inc on line 9

Here's a few system particulars:

uname -a
Linux goliath 2.6.12-gentoo-r10 #5 SMP Wed Oct 26 20:07:32 PDT 2005 i686
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

error when starting

When I start drupal (http://localhost:82/index.php) I have this message and nothing happens.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\drupal-4.6.5\drupal-4.6.5\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 31

I run with mysql 5.0

Problem wwith install

Hi there

I use Windows XP, PHP 5 and mySQL 5. I have problems installing Drupal :-(

When I execute the sql to build a database I get error in line:

#1364 - Field 'pages' doesn't have a default value

I set the database to drupal:

$db_url = 'mysql://root:root@localhost/drupal/';

But the database can not be forund when I start pages :-( Is this connected to the error I get when I want to build tables?

Yours

Jerry
