Installing Drupal

When I attempt to transfer tables from a Drupal database into a new database I can't complete the import and a 1064 error is displayed. I'm exporting from mysql version 4.0.25 and I've tried many different scenarios at various hosts, (mysql v4.1.3, mysql v5.0.18, etc). I've searched the forum without luck...

I have a problemm in mysql setting ,
please help , I get the following error :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in D:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\myproj\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 31

I installed Drupal (4.6) and its working without any problems.

However, I tried to install a number of modules (e.g. event, bookmark, bbcode) and cannot get them to work proberly. I followed all the instructions, added the tables to the database. Also, I can activate them in the modules tab but as soon as I click on the link to the settings to the event module for example I just get a blank page. Why is that?

Can Drupal run on one site...say, www.firstsite.com and have the database at www.secondsite.com each with different hosts? If so, how can this be done?

TinyMCE module version 4.6.0
TinyMCE version 2.0.4
MSIE version 6.0

I can enable the module in Admin->Modules. When going to Admin->Settings, I get this error message:

i have a problem with the .htaccess, when i publish my website on hosted web server, a internal error appear but when i delete the .htaccess, it works but only navigation, submitting new content is impossible (probably because i drop the .htaccess). please help me to configure it properly.
