Hi,
The entity reference settings for the reference method of: Business Rules: Make field dependent using views is broken and not working at all !!!
FOR WEBFORM:
When trying to set the reference method of an entity reference field to Business Rules: Make field dependent using views I got very strange results. (Which does not make any sense!)
HOWEVER, FOR NODES: When trying to set the reference method of an entity reference field to Business Rules: Make field dependent using views I got the exact results that I am expecting to see!
To reproduce the issue:
1) Create a simple taxonomy view
2) Add to the view an "Entity Reference" display.
3) Add an "entity select" webform element to the "Contact webform"
4) Within the "Entity reference" element settings, change the reference type to Business Rules: Make field dependent using views
5) Voila! the issue.

Thank you for your help,

jrockowitz commentedI can't support the Business Rules module within the Webform module's issue queue. Any integration with The Business Rules module should be handled via a dedicated contrib module like https://www.drupal.org/project/webform_rules

c.e.a commentedSorry for re-opening this issue but as far as I can tell, business rules is the best option now for creating Dependent fields using this Dependent Fields Guide. However, this functionality is working with all entity reference field entities except Webform elements !
Is there another way to create dependent field in webforms ?
Thank you,

jrockowitz commentedCurrently, there is no way to create "Dependent fields" in the Webform module.
I think some people are using https://www.drupal.org/project/webform_shs
