Hi,

I try to use this module with CDN (https://www.drupal.org/project/cdn). My JPG files are stored on separate servers, and CDN module give me the possibility to server these files from different URL. For example:

cdn.domain.com| jpg jpeg

Is there any way to use download_file with cdn?

This is an addition to 7.x-3.x , but I'm not sure how to make that an available version in the dropdown.
When a file uri does not have a valid stream wrapper protocol, an external request is made.
