hass commentedWas hast du alles geändert?
"Wichtigste Besucher" habe ich gefunden... das Statistik-Wording habe ich übrigend aus Webtrends, AWStats und Webalizer abgeschaut... ich glaube nicht, dass die alle falsch übersetzten.
hass commentedcommitted code contains one bug ("ff").
Was ist das Problem mit "Verweiser-Statistik"? "Referrer" ist kein deutsches Wort. Jede Webanalyse Software die ich kenne schreibt Verweiser.
hass commentedAdditional:
1. curly quotes fixed
2. "visitors" von Benutzer in Besucher angepasst
3. Groß- und Kleinschreibung gefixt
4. Alle verbliebenen "Top" Strings ersetzt.
5. Rest wie oben ("Referrer"->Verweiser, und "ff"->Ansichten)
René Schwarz commentedPlease only write in English language.
I don't know _any_ web analysis software which calls "referer" "Verweiser". There is some technical vocabulary that shouldn't be translated into German, because it is a standard wording in the web.
So please leave technical vocabulary as it is.
hass commentedShould i provide you some screen shots from Webtrends and AWstats? It's named "Verweise" in AWStats and "Verweiser" in Webtrends. This are the *top* statistic software products around the world. Attached a screenshot from AWStats... i'm not sure if it's allowed to upload screen shots from Webtrends... so i don't do, but Webtrends is massively using "Verweiser". It's not technical, marketing likes "Verweiser" much more... and they are not technicals.
hass commented"Google Analyics" and "Webalizer" same it "Verweiser", too.
René Schwarz commentedThat is not correct. Google Analytics f.e. calls it "verweisende Websites" and "Zugriffsquellen". The German word "Verweiser" as synonym for "referer" is non-regular.
Nevertheless as a long-time translator for the Drupal German Translation team I reject the usage of "Verweiser", despite other websites may use it.
In my opinion regular technical vocabulary should persist even in translation.
hass commentedI cannot find "Referrer" anywhere... Everytime i only see: Verweis, verweisende Website, Verweise, Herkunft, verweisende Quelle, etc.
kkaefer commentedI also think that "Verweiser" sounds awkward. Never heard it before. If you search with Google for that word, you get an incredible amount of 611 results. That already indicates that it is non-standard and not commonly used.
hass commentedturn back the Verweiser wheel with this patch.
hass commentedlast patch is not a "turn back" it's the patch against current 5.x-dev to fix the above bugs.
1. curly quotes fixed
2. "visitors" von Benutzer in Besucher angepasst
3. Groß- und Kleinschreibung gefixt
4. Alle verbliebenen "Top" Strings ersetzt.

René Schwarz commentedI've committed your patch into CVS with some changes. F.e. I translated "Top-Websites" into "Beliebte Webseiten".
Thanks for your efforts.
