canen CreditAttribution: canen commentedNot really. If anyone is willing to take it off my hands I can give them access.

No need to port.
Just tested.

mgiffordGuess this is the case for D7 as well.

jimbullington CreditAttribution: jimbullington commentedI'm not sure about D7 - a port would probably be pretty easy - if needed.
mgiffordIn a local D7 install a search for "d'accès" is showing up differently than "d'acces":
The link to the article shows up, but the highlighted section doesn't exist
http://EXAMPLE.ORG/fr/search/node/d%27accès
vs
http://EXAMPLE.ORG/fr/search/node/d%27acces
Which may well just be a bug in core at this point. Thoughts?

Robin Millette CreditAttribution: Robin Millette commentedThe code hasn't actually been touched in 4 years. canen hasn't committed anything since 2009, gusgsm1 since 2007 but jimbullington and Sutharsan are still active in other parts of Drupal.

bobojo CreditAttribution: bobojo commentedDoes Transliteration provide the same functionality? If so, I would propose this module be deprecated and a note made in its description to use Transliteration instead.
frederickjh@bobojo I believe that these modules are for different things. This module Accent is for search indexes. Transliteration is for file uploads.
