Hey everyone. I am interested in using the GMAP module to display just a simple Google map with a blip indicating the location of the business I'm building a website for. I'm totally lost in the documentation. Is this really what I'm even looking for? Should I just be creating my own custom page and work with the api directly without using this?

Anyone use GMAP for this purpose and can help me out? Thanks

Hi,

Gmap is a very robust module and may load your installation with more firepower than you need for simply displaying one static location. I would recommend creating a custom page and either work with the API directly, or frankly just embed a google maps iframe.
