Hi,
On the peak of the traffic growth, registered users can not see the the story content. Once a user registers he/she gets the original Drupal setting:
"Welcome to your new Drupal website!Please follow these steps to set up and start using your website:".
instead of the daily story-content. Anaymous users and admin can see all the content but registered users can not see "terms of use, about, privacy policy", i.e. secondary_links.
This is so annoying when my site is growing "4 times traffic" than the previous month.
No success with permission settings so far. My mistake was trying to make the most recent content available for the registered users. They could only see the material of the last month before my unsucessfull operation on the original cache.
Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a role problem..
Hmm. You are saying that when a new user registers he is seeing the user/1 splash screen that one sees right after installing drupal?? Are you automatically assigning roles to new users that are messing up your perms?
You need to provide a lot more information.
