Request for (co)maintainer access [#2494905]

The Drupal Media team backported parts of the D8 dialog API for use by the Entity Embed module in D7. We would like to spin-off the dialog handling into a separate module for better maintainability and so that other projects, such as Entity Browser and Media can use it without duplicating code.

It looks like there hasn't been any development in a while. I'd be happy to become a maintainer/co-maintainer of Dialog API and work on a stable release of the module for D7.

It has been two weeks and I've messaged the module maintainers. Moving from the Dialog queue to the Drupal.org project ownership queue.

I've transferred the module outright. There hasn't been any activity in years and the owner hasn't commented on drupal.org since mid-2013.

I've got some development training and looking to get more experience. I'm more of a novice at this point, but I'd be interested in helping any way I can if anyone would be willing to kind of be a mentor for me along the way and show me a thing or two. This would be a neat experience for me to really get involved in the community more as well.
