Hi guys,

I created a new CCK content type and would like to add a file attachment field to it but can't seem to find the option to do this. I have the core Upload module enabled and it is working fine for other content types?

Searched everywhere but no answers. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

I'm not sure I fully understand the question. When you say "it is working fine for other content types"-- all content types are CCK content types in D6. The only difference really, is whether or not they contain fields besides "title" and "body".

If you have the core upload module enabled, all you should need to do is enable "Attachments" in the "Workflow settings" fieldset on the edit page of the content type you want to accept attachments.

Unrelated, there is the http://drupal.org/project/filefield module for adding a field for handling files, but that doesn't appear to have a d6 version yet.

Thanks Worldfallz. Sorry it wasn't too clear, but basically it was that 'Attachments' option that I was looking for. As with a lot of things in Drupal, it wasn't really obvious where it was!

To answer your question, I meant the file uploads were all enabled in the other CCK content types I created, but couldn't find the option to enable it for one of them.

Cheers,
