I am trying to configure my Events page. I am in my Admin, Content management, Content types - Event - Manage fields..

The event_start, event_end, eventrepeat, title, taxonomy are all grayed out. I want to change the weight on them to organize them on the page.

Any idea what's going on here? I have everything I need to turned on in modules and permissions.. I loaded cck modules, not sure they have anything to do with this, but I have them..

Any suggestions would help! Thanks.

Can't seem to figure this out - would any further description help to understand what I'm trying to describe?

My guess is these Event fields will need to be manually arranged in the code of the page. I see other sites utilizing the Events Module, that have moved the event_start to another area on the page, seems like such a simple thing to do!

Here is a screen shot of my troubles: Event issue I would like to be able to modify the weight on those top 6 grayed out types. Any idea how?

Thanks!! Hopefully my description/picture will get me a response this time. Thanks in advance.

The contemplate module will allow you to rearrange the fields in any content type. Check it out, it most likely will allow you to format your content how you want...

If you have not already figured this out, you can rename your fields in addition to weighting them where you want them to appear, so that the script alphabetizes them in the order you want. You do not need to use contemplate or alter the script in any way.
