a tool to automatically migrate the content of my website created in wordpress to drupal. I read somewhere that there is a module for migrating files based on XML. Currently I want to integrate an online store and I read that it is advisable to use this platform to the detriment to Wordpress

Don't mean to steer you away from Drupal, but there are e-commerce plugins for Wordpress.

As for moving to Drupal there is the Wordpress Migrate module.

If you do go with Drupal, you will want to use Drupal 7 not 8.

Once you have created a site based on Drupal, you need to enable the WordPress Import module. The module is available on admin menu, helping migrate the tags, pages, media, posts and categories to Drupal from WordPress easily.
