Find and Replace

The find and replace feature lets you find and replace any text in your document. This speeds up your work and helps with the consistency of your content.  Use the Find and Replace toolbar button to open the search dialog, then find and replace words or phrases. 

By default, the find and replace form appears in a dialog, which lets you keep it open while editing the document. Alternatively, you can display the feature in a dropdown menu.

Advanced options

By opening Advanced options, you'll get access to two extra functionalities:

• Match case -  ensures the search function distinguishes between uppercase and lowercase letters.
• Whole words only - ensures the search function finds only complete word matches, ignoring partial matches.
