WProofreader overview
WProofreader is an AI-driven text correction tool that supports multiple languages. The Plugin Pack includes a free version of WProofreader, a grammar and spell checker. The free version has certain limitations, including a cap of 50,000 words checked per day.
WProofreader provides spelling, grammar, and punctuation suggestions, which appear as you type or in a separate dialog that consolidates all mistakes and replacement suggestions.
Multilingual text support
The tool checks texts for errors and offers autodetection for multilingual texts, eliminating the need for manual language switching.
User-specific settings
Users can customize WProofreader through the dedicated settings menu, where they can select a primary language from the available options, manage their dictionary and choose from a few ignore options to adjust spell checking to their needs.
Custom dictionary
Words can be added to the user dictionary directly from the suggestion card.
How to enable/disable spell checking
If necessary, users can easily toggle the spell checker on or off with a single click.
