One login in Drupal and Jabber server works.

Last time I posted information about completion of code implementation.
This time - great news the service is live as a proof of concept.

You can now create Drupal account on http://www.tigase.org/ site and
instantly login using Jabber/XMPP client.

To avoid possible caching problems in Drupal/PHP/Apache2 you can not
create account through Jabber protocol. Even though it is implemented
I have switched ti off for tigase.org site.

All account management is done through Drupal.

Jabber/XMPP server integration with Drupal completed

Hello,

I am working on Tigase project - Jabber/XMPP server implementation in Java. This is open source (GPL2) project.

I have just finished user authentication agains Drupal database.

The benefit is all user accounts management is done via Drupal interface and Tigase server picks up all changes instantly. It is also sensitive to Status field value so it won't let login for disabled accounts.
