My company, Vamosa, has just released a free content analysis and migration product called Vamosa Community Edition. It can be downloaded for free from www.vamosa.com.
Vamosa Community Edition combines the functionality of Vamosa Content Analyser and Vamosa Content Migrator to produce an end to end analysis and migration tool and can be easily configured to aid in the implementation of Drupal CMSs.
Although Community Edition’s processing engine is limited to 1,000 unique URL’s it will:
It's been one year since drupalsites.net first appeared on the net. There are almost 700 sites listed since then and almost 900 users are registered. It's actually much more then expected (and almost a half sites at drupal.org's showcase forums for the 5 years !!!).
To celebrate this event drupalsites.net has a new theme from today (kinda more web 2.0ish). More features to come. Please leave a comment on what would you like to see there in the future.
We have been working with Drupal to develop a community site and are nearly complete. There are a few areas we need assistance with so that we can begin concentrating 100% on content development.
We are looking for a Drupal developer/designer who has experience using the ”views” module as well as a person who has experience with custom module development. Someone who has experience integrating the gallery module would be a big plus. Experience with the Drupal’s PHPTemplate system is a necessity.
I have developed a new module, inspired by the devel module but with some convenient features for logging all "action" queries -- that is, all insert/update/delete queries.
This becomes very useful when you are performing a configuration task on your "staging" or "development" site and then want to propagate those changes to the live site...
Please give it a try. I am currently trying to get a cvs account so I can upload this to drupal.org properly.
Come play with your local Drupal user group and take part in the battle of the groups, as DUGs* from China to Egypt to Vancouver fight to the finish for fame and honor. Help organize a local meeting to test the latest development branch of Drupal, review patches, and get those last pesky quirks fixed. Leave your mark by writing "This bug squashed by the East Kankakee Drupal marauders... RTBC!" in the issues you review and the bugs you fix. You know your group is the BEST, now go prove it! And have fun. =)
