Deprecated - Usability feedback

I started using Drupal a few months ago and I must say it is an extremely well coded piece of software.

I'm currently developing Drupaltin, a product to integrate vBulletin and Drupal without hacking any core files. You can find out more if you would like at http://www.theoverclocked.com/Drupaltin

First I must admit I have been watching Drupal with interest for many years. I did not have a particular reason to jump into it until recently. What I want to build is something that Drupal seems to have components to do. Possibly one of the more complex electronic workflows I can think of.

It appears I can do most of this except follow production of ads and timed scheduling... I would appreciate any comments or suggestions on how to best approach this.

I think CRM would be very important. I have been told ERP might be a better fit. Please any suggestions is very appreciated.

I am a manager for one of groups in groups.drupal.org
I am getting error "invalid email address or username: " whenever i am trying to invite a new member.
However, inviting a user that already a member is succesful!

Then i wonder, what the "Invite Friends" suppose to be ?

Im curious as to why there is no subscription option when making forum posts.

The only way I have found to check is navigate to my recent posts and see if the new text shows up.

Is there any way to get notified via email .. if there is, why would this feature not be configured by default?

I am a n00b to drupal, but am very proficient with PHP. I am wondering if the benefits of learning and fully customizing drupal outweighs developing a site from scratch with php.

I am developing something like a myspace but, more unique than just that. I require the ability to fully customize user profiles & the design template and the layout and content is very strict, very corporate, and cannot look "drupalish"

can i get some feedback from you drupal experts and let me know what you think about learning drupal over developing from scratch;

I am actually working from China on a drupal 5.1 website hosted in france. Everything is working fine when i created it in France, can login, modify etc...
The problem is that i came back to China and, you should know, China is blocking some website because they want to control the content.
I'm so lucky my website have been blocked in China already...
There is a way to access the website by using a free proxy server like http://www.fritoon.info/proxy/
