I am going nuts trying to get D8 Open Social to work - in particular I can't get Private Files working.
I've tried following various Private Files instructions to no avail.
$80 to someone who can make a nice video of the process, from start to finish, and put on YouTube so I can copy and get it working. And hopefully it will help others too. A running commentary explaining the how and why would be good too.
We have a client that had a website designed by some developer many years ago. Sadly they no longer have the time to update and maintain the site and the client has a limited budget ( charity) . Hosting company informed us that the site had compromised files on the hosting so suspended it until we could remove the affected files. We did so but they keep coming back presumably because the drupal version is out of date and unsecure.
On a Drupal 7 Site we have a webform consisting of several components (Name, email, company, etc) with submissions. We added a new Select option component to this webform. Further we added double opt using the Webform Confirm Email Module. All submissions now need to be updated.
So the process should be like this:
1. Import further submissions from an external source to the existing webform
2. Send e-Mail to the people of the submissions
In the e Mail there is a Link: mysite.com/webform/uuid
