I am looking for someone to manage ongoing development for the Fearless Living web site. The company will have their own dedicated web person to manage site content, but needs someone to implement new Drupal features, fix bugs, and generally maintain the technical aspects of the site. The company is located in Boulder, CO so finding someone in the Denver/Boulder area would be a plus, but is not necessary.
This job could be a great opportunity for someone with a good amount of PHP technical experience who might not know Drupal inside-out. This high-profile site is up and running and so there is a lot of "example" code to look at. The site is a major Drupal installation with a lot of modules - including event, location, ecommerce, simple access, user badges, (flat) forums, mailing lists, and several custom modules.
The company has lots of ideas for new features (including an eventual upgrade from 4.6 to 4.7) - so there is basically as much work here as you would like to put in. Position is freelance and the pay rate is very competitive.
I originally developed the site but do not have time to continue development. However, I will be available to answer questions and provide guidance for ongoing work on the project.
If you are interested in this position, please contact me through my contact form here at drupal.org. Send a brief description of your interest and experience along with links to any relevant work that you've done.
