I currently run a website called Monsters and Madmen (www.monstersandmadmen.com) that is in need of an overhaul. I recently had it reworked in Mambo/Joomla but I found the system too cumbersome to use, especially the built-in gallery. My main reason for moving away from Joomla is that is that the back end seemed "clunky" and never really worked with my design correctly. I'm hoping Drupal is a little more intuitive to use and what I need to get this site running again.
Anyway, I'm looking for someone to take my designs and make them in to usable templates for a custom Drupal site. The site has only a few major sections. Among them are:
- Featured Masks - a place to see what masks we are featuring with pictures and information as where to buy them
- Must-Haves - a section updated weekly with reviews on what we think horror collectors should have in their collection
- Aricles/Interviews - a place to keep all of our featured interviews and any other articles, with images that can be enlarged
- Gallery - probably the most important part of the site, which we want completely editable by admins, able to have users upload images, and tightly integrated with the site. I have used Gallery before, so I may want to use the new Gallery 2, but I am open to suggestions.
That's about it with the exception of a basic links page, contact page, and front page. Other things on the "wish list" include an ecommerce area to sell things like shirts, etc. which we'd eventually like to have. Possibly a few other things too, like having ad banners, etc. but this is enough to get started. The main thing is that we want it to be easy to operate and update.
