We currently have a static product site and want to convert it to Drupal 5.0. Along with the conversion will be the development of a new module that will be an extension to the user.module.
The static site will be a fairly standard conversion of approximately 10 pages of content and the porting of a "gallery" that will need to be a "View" of a specific Content Type. The gallery will need to function much like Mozilla's Addons site.
I am looking to hire a developer who can create a module that can extend the CCK File Upload utility and/or file attachment module. Upon upload of a .doc file, the module would convert the file to PDF and store only the PDF file on the site. It's similar to how the attachment system works currently, except it should display a .PDF file as if the user had just uploaded a PDF file instead of a DOC.
A start up would like a "simple" web site to host polls and contests coded.
Polls are simple single answer from a list. "How old is John Doe?" -> XX, YY, ZZ or from a list of pictures (which one do you prefer -> display three pics)
Contests invite users to enter a text: describe the moon in 20 words. Or describe the attached car in 20 words (showing the pic of the car).
Users gain points everytime they vote a poll or submit an answer to the contest. Will gain XX points if they win the contest.
I am an independent website developer seeking a module coder for multiple Drupal 5.x projects.
I can no longer handle the workload for designing/developing active projects and need a highly skilled Module developer to assist in completing sites ASAP.
Example Project Description:
Site visitors are given 3-5 options to customize products using an online form resulting in a simple render of the product by over-laying images. Visitor created products can be placed into a shopping cart and purchased online. Resulting orders are sent to the manufacturer.
I need to write a Drupal 5.0 module that allows a site to mark certain pieces of content as "subscription only." If a user tries to access a restricted piece of content they get a teaser followed by a mini form to fill out to create an account with a free limited time subscription access. The idea is to allow them to quickly register and then get on with things.
