Summary:

Image X Media is looking for a talented full-time web developer with a passion for integrating innovative technologies with beautiful design. The position requires creative thinking, and an eye for design. Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for taking a web project from the development phase to the final product.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Working with a team (designers, client manager, project manager, and other developers) to create compelling and cutting edge web sites and web applications.
• Responsible for turning design and user interface mockups into functional web sites.
• Responsible for utilizing and extending our content management system (Drupal) where necessary.
• Custom programming and web application development.
• Testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing client sites.
• Should prove to be a valuable technical resource for other team members.

Requirements

• Independence, willingness to learn and problem solving skills are a must
• At least two years of related work experience/education.
• Must be able to handle a face paced work environment, deadlines, and new challenges.
• Ability to communicate and work as part of a team.

Technical Skills

We're a team of 5 developers creating a Drupal social networking, project management application.
We'd like to bring another developer into the fold for the next month, with the possibility of staying on with us full-time after the current project ends.

I'm in the process of finalising a dedicated server with Bytemark to move our development site to in the next few weeks and will need to move the site over to a new url as well. We need the site to hit the ground running for our launch so are looking for the assistance of a drupal pro to help us with this move.

We have an immediate need for a Drupal consultant to assist with continuing development, theming, and site administration.

The candidate must be experienced in using Drupal, PHP, MySQL, Apache, and Linux to build highly scalable web platforms. Graphic design and CSS/HTML skills are highly desirable. Strong database experience and website performance optimization expertise would be plus.

We are a Chicago based company looking to revamp our current website and provide extended functionality in the way of dynamic profiles (based on user role) classifieds, forums, live chats, events, and possibly paid memberships. I have installed drupal and configured the framework to this point, installed the forums, created flexinodes for the classified section, and have installed the event module.

We have recently moved a theme from Joomla over to Drupal. You can see the current site at http://www.canadgroup.com/drupal/
- This is a business website so we have disabled comments and outside user registration.
We have installed FCKeditor, sIFR, google analytics, and profile modules, but further customization is needed.
