We currently have a static product site and want to convert it to Drupal 5.0. Along with the conversion will be the development of a new module that will be an extension to the user.module.

The static site will be a fairly standard conversion of approximately 10 pages of content and the porting of a "gallery" that will need to be a "View" of a specific Content Type. The gallery will need to function much like Mozilla's Addons site.

The module will expose a REST API that will allow the updating of some new metadata around a user's account. The developer will also need experience with GD to be able to output a "badge" image based on some of the user's metadata.

Previous experience with Drupal is required and references will need to be provided. An understanding of the module architecture will also need to be demonstrated during the bidding process. So please do not bid without being able to show prior experience with Drupal.

I would like to recommend (once again...) Eitan Isaacson of Inapplicable Solutions, a great Drupal professional with great programming and design skills (and that's a rare combination!).
Eitan built a large and complicated Drupal website for me - Home Security.
I'm sure you will not regret contacing him.
