I'm looking for a PHP coder familiar with the Drupal API (specifically version 5). The coder will be working on various small and simple modules and "tweaks" for a small-time private Drupal-enabled website.

First of all, we are not designers/developers.

I have tried installing the drupal using drupal-cookbook. I was able to do everything ok in section A and B.
I get stuck in section C (C. Creating Multiple Sites On Your Local Computer) where it says: (Go to the www/Drupal/sites directory.)
I have problem changing the settings.php file

I am looking for help and I am willing to pay the right person for helping us with a full working multi-site installation for our objectives as explained below.

Our Objective i.e. Why we need Drupal Multi-site installation:

1. We have lots (I really mean lots!) of domains.
2. We are planning to start building valuable and mostly informational sites for visitors to our domains. We are looking for clean, simple layouts mostly on white background. We are not looking for too many logos/graphics etc. Just simple and clean content sites.
3. We plan to display advertisements from adsnse and ypn on all those sites.
4. We want a multi-site setup that does the following:
- provide nice layouts/themes
- ability to change themes 'quickly' for new and already developed sites.
- the sites have clean URLs.

Hello! I am looking for someone to do some coding work, particularly with the voting API and RSS feeds. I am quite experienced with Drupal, but I am not a hardcore coder and suffering from a severe lack of spare time :)

Let me set the stage. There will be two content types -- A and B -- displayed in two columns on the site. Individual nodes from A and B will need to have a way to be flagged by users as a "match". When two nodes have been flagged, they must snap together (ie. side-by-side) and allow users to vote and pick a winner.

I would like some assistance in creating/modifying the following:

Potential modifications to one of the RSS importing modules
Not sure about this as I haven't used any of the RSS-as-node modules so I'm not sure how well they work off the bat, but I will need to apply formatting and possibly strip images from imported nodes. I may want to perform additional actions on importing, such as adjusting links or tagging items. I also need to make sure that all links point back to the RSS source rather than to the node on the Drupal site.
