THIS IS FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA APPLICANTS ONLY
Looking for a motivated, serious tech partner for web project in the SoCal area due to working with designers and myself directly. An ongoing relationship with another entrepreneur type who would like to be creative and part of something long term as opposed to just another job they do and hand off. (Firms will be considered as well).
I’m looking for a developer for a shopping based site.
Generally speaking the application I’m shooting for will exercise the following core functionality, that’s on top of the typical drupal installation:
- Get shopping prices and information from Internet sites (in the same manner bizrate.com, pricegrabber.com, etc. does) and “work” on it.
- Ability to fetch a web page based on given url and “work” on it.
I am planning on creating a site for a student government and I had a couple questions before a select a developer:
Is it safe to have a designer create a site for drupal without drupal experience? Will I be able to implement that design afterwards?
If a designer develops a site for me how easy is it to convert it appropriately through the drupal community? What factors should i consider?
