I;m looking for a freelancer who's strong in drupal basics. need a small site with 5 to 7 pages alongwith a blog and forum.

I'm looking to create a revised version of the menu module which will simplify the task of creating content, adding it to the menus, and reordering links through a drag n drop interface. This will not be a comprehensive menu module to replace the existing menu module, but rather a simple way for content administrators to manage content. It will only show the menus the administrator chooses, which will usually be Primary links only.

The module will do the following:

• List menu items for selected menus
• Allow user to add content from this screen. Automatically create menu items for these pages.
• Reorder menu items through drag/drop, including one depth (secondary links)

Optional features, possibly for a phase 2:

• Distinguish between pages and external links. Offer 'edit page' link for pages

As you may have noticed, I am running a very restricted version of Drupal for my clients. They only have access to create/edit content and to use a select few marketing modules. I've found that the separation between creating content and creating menus is confusing, so I'm trying to eliminate that by uniting them.

The timeline is tight on this project, I'd need a functional module by September 15th.

I searched Drupal.org for "chess" and found only one chess related module creation attempt: http://drupal.org/node/116399 Unfortunately, developers of the module had given up their plans. I would love to provide users of my site with possibility to play chess online between themselves. Could Drupal gurus take a look on TWO modules on facebook.com and develop similar module for Drupal. How much this kind of job would cost?

I am looking for someone (advanced in drupal and PHP) to enter in some kind of partnership role in several drupal projects that have a lot of potential to provide a stream of supplementary income. These are envisioned, even in the start-up phase, as side projects, should not require a huge amount of time, and beyond that should be easily maintained with relatively little involvement.

Basically, I have several good ideas for web networks. I am fairly certain they will gather reliable, strong communities. I have been trying to figure out Drupal to use for it, and while I have been tremendously impressed by it, I have also found it difficult for someone without advanced programming knowledge to figure out all elements.

Someone who lives in or near Austin, TX would be great, but if you are the right person, I don't care where you live. If you have some interest in some (though not necessarilty all) of these areas, that would be preferable: the earth, writing, stories, yoga, healing, sexuality.
