Looking for Experienced Drupal Themer

I have several ongoing website projects and would like to find a good, experienced Drupal themer for freelance work. My design staff will create the website design in Photoshop, you will convert that design into a functioning Drupal theme.

Please email me if you are interested and send examples of your work. Thanks.

Advanced Views Work, Caching/MySQL

I have a Drupal ecommerce website with about 160 Views used for cataloging about 12,000 products.

The client would like to have filter blocks on those catalog view pages so customers can filter the View by Manufacturer. I have the working code to do this. The issue I have run into is that to populate the block I need to load the view, cycle through every product in the view, load their node to get the CCK value of Brand, and build the filter list of brands. Some of the views will have over 1,000 products and this just chokes.

Module MYSQL Optimization

Looking for someone to help me optimize a custom module.

I have written a module that maintains inventory between a point of sale system and their drupal powered ecommerce site. It does this by reading a file that is FTP'd about 4 times a day.

URGENT: USER #1 gets LOGGED OUT when trying to add a new user

My website settings allow users to sign up by themselves as long as they have a valid email address.

I have been signing up new users for months with no problems, and then all of a sudden this morning no one can sign up and create a new user.

Even as USER #1, I can't create a new user. After I click the submit button, I just get a white page.

I checked the logs and there is no log entry created when I or a user tries to create an new user account.

Bounty: Tutorial for Migrating from MySQL 4.0 to 4.1

The Bounty:

Amount: $30 via PayPal, unless other arrangements are made.

Task: A short, numerated, tutorial instructing a user how to migrate an existing Drupal database from a server running MySQL 4.0 (Latin1 charset) to a server running MySQL 4.1 (UTF8).

Due Date: Friday, November 16th 2007 (I may be able to give 24 more hours).

Pretty easy $30--and it would be a great assistance to many Drupal site owners and be a great addition to the Drupal Handbook.

Interested? Here are some more specifics.

I am offering a small bounty ($30) to anyone who will write a tutorial for the Drupal Handbook in regards to the proper way to migrate an existing Drupal website (4.7.x and 5.x) from a server running MySQL 4.0 to a server running MySQL 4.1.

The Drupal CMS has two database types (for 4.7) for MySQL when starting a new site: 4.0 and 4.1. One of the major differences is that MySQL 4.0 uses Latin1 for the character set while MySQL 4.1 uses UTF8.

Dumping a Drupal site from a server running MySQL 4.0 and repopulating the database on a server running MySQL 4.1 results in garbled text and (from what I hear) query issues due to incorrect and conflicting collation table data.
