Paid Drupal services

I am looking for an expert in Drupal to work on a number of projects, so this is an excellent opportunity for ongoing work.

The role could either be as a consultant or consultant/developer. I have a team of excellent PHP developers with minor Drupal experience, so I am envisaging a combined role.

The first project scope is conversion of a php based site into Drupal. The site is jobscompared.com so the following will be required.

*Note* all of the features below already work in PHP, so it is a matter of conversion to Drupal

- convert layout/design into drupal template (CSS based layout)
- take incoming job feeds (either RSS or via a custom spider we have) and save as content items into drupal db . We already have scheduled jobs to retrieve all of the content.
- implement the internal search engine (currently search is external)
- integrate the geonames module for location based searches e.g. 'within 15 kilometres of' London.
- ensure the taxonomy works, currently it is a dual taxonomy of locations and job types. there is also some data in the database linked to the taxonomy
- implement SEF urls
- integrate ad serving via openads or other recommendation (openads presently running)
- user registration for email alerts etc. (would like to know what drupal can do here)
- contact form, post a job form

I'm interested in speaking with a developer about the possibility of converting to Drupal. I actually spoke with one person early last year, but lost his contact info and have been unable to resume discussions regarding it.

The biggest issue is how we'd need it to operate. There are various sites that would all have to be converted over, but we can most likely do a lot of that... but it just depends on how complicated a process it is. I'm a designer with limited knowledge of PHP.

I am working on a News based/Community site.I have a basic app. going in for me and I am looking for someone that could drive the improovemnets and long term term development and maintainance.

These are the steps that I would want to be done (in the immediate future)

1.Develop the Layout according to my specs
2.Drupal Theaming
3.Configure and modify the Modules.

This might be a long term commitment based on the performance.

Small non-profit, in public safety sector, is looking to have two very similar databases developed. One database will be a complete redesign of database. The first database is for a fitness program for first responders, where they can log their daily physical activity. The second will be a database where junior firefighters can log their hours spent on various tasks. Both databases will be added to exisitng websites. The general characteristics will be:

1. Ability to log hours and activities, as well as backlog for previous days/weeks.
2. Ability to add new activities not listed in database.
3. Different activities have different intensity levels.
4. Each department will have landing page.
4a. Individual ff's will log in under their department.
4b. Each individual ff will have individual login. Will be taken to main department page.
4c. Department page will have success stories, bulletins, pictures, etc. Departments will have ability to upload these items directly.
5. Online discussion groups - live chats with professionals
6. Message Boards - Moderated by NVFC, to talk about likes dislikes, improvements, department participation, etc.
7. Tracking - Individuals will be able to compare their progress with others, however names will not be used. Tracking by city, state age, etc.

Hello people!
I'm fairly new with at Drupal but I am convinced this is the system I need for the site I want.
However, I am more of a designer than a programmer, so this is were me asking for your help comes in.

First of all, I don't want to give anybody a headache, so I will say this is a project that I can only
start in 4 weeks from now, however since I'm in the planning of it I want to be prepared with what
my budget needs to be and what time line to expect. So I really appreciate the help and your thoughts
on this project.

I need a Drupal theme for a video website. The initial project will be for Drupal 5 and later the same theme needs to be ported on Drupal 6. The persons that are interested can send me a portfolio (ONLY with Drupal themes).
