Paid Drupal services

Hello.

I would just like to offer myself as being available to perform paid Drupal development work. I have extensive experience with the Drupal CMS in both commercial and personal sites.

I am extremely comfortable with the ins and outs of the Drupal codebase, and can handle module coding, if that is necessary. Whatever you want to make happen with Drupal, I can do it.

In addition to Drupal services, I also offer custom applications development in PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Java as well as Search Engine Optimization and Online Reputation Management services.

This project is somewhat complicated and will require an experienced developer. Your time spent drawing up a proposal for this project may be worth reimbursing. If that's something in which you'd be interested, give me some sense of your resume and experience with Drupal as well as the time and cost it would take to put together such a proposal.

We are a medical library (http://library.med.cornell.edu) and we are considering implementing one of two alternative CMSs-- one of which is Drupal, the other being Fatwire. Right now, we are wondering how Drupal can meet our needs and what kind of costs might be incurred.

Here are some highlights for the project:

* theme creation: essentially, there is the home page and there are the individual pages
* transitioning of 40-80 old pages
* global search toolbar: we have identified a Solr-driven solution as one that would meet our users' needs of rapidly finding bibliographic records for Electronic Resources (if you want to see our proposal for our electronic resource reorganization, I'll be happy to pass that along)

I work for a NGO that is trying to find an experienced consultant who can help them write a "Request for Proposal" (RFP) that is not platform specific. We would prefer that the consultant will be available for this consultation in Geneva, Switzerland.

The requirement can be sketched as follows:

ACCESSIBLE VIA A WEB BROWSER
All the features below should be accessible via a login and password, using a web browser. All features will be interlinked, sharing data, all can be searchand all are available from the same interface.

EXPERT'S DIRECTORY
This directory will be used by the Programme staff to find relevant staff for new projects and for workers in the field to seek experienced colleagues to assist them.

PROJECTS LISTING
Details of the Projects, aims, sponsor, mandate, dates, project milestones, costs, who works on them, where it is, topics covered, outputs, documents.

DOCUMENTS STORE
All documents created by the central Programme staff and Project teams should be stored here. These will include, standard operating procedures, training documents, project reports, lessons to be learned.

COMMENTS / FORUM
There needs to be some feature that enables users to add comments to the above. This can be at the level of conversation about problems and also official comments about a documents provenance and influence on future documentation.

Seeking a drupal expert for a site that we're developing.

We will need to candidate to be proficient in PHP to edit or create custom module.
Work with various JSR standards such as provisioning xml's to implement within use via Drupal.

Ability to theme photoshoped files into site.

I run a multi author Wordpress blog and we are looking to migrate our wordpress to Drupal.
Here is a brief outline of the SOW, details can be exchange via email

What we require:
1. Import Wordpress blogs, posts, comments from Wordpress into Drupal
2. Import Wordpress Plugin features like number of views, number of votes, recent comments from Wordpress Database into Drupal
3. Customize Blog in Drupal to carry over similar features that exist in our blog in wordpress in terms of display, user interaction, Having a separate "Exclusive" authors' posts display, Exclusive authors listed by their latest posts, recent comments etc.
4. Customize Blog section and add new features in Drupal as per the detailed statement of work for blog in a separate document (same doc that went to Sunny, now which will be changed)
5. Provide new sections like Forums, Review, Classifieds, Social Bookmark section on the website itself (not bookmark to other sites but if possible use a module to have a section for social bookmarking at our site)
6. A video and photo album section that can be directly plugged into Blog posts.
7. A video tool (web tool inside Drupal) that blog authors can use to upload videos speedily and easily, automatically get their video converted to flash and provide authors with easy tools to include the videos into their posts.
