We all know that drupal mark new replies in forums by adding word "new" against them. now i want to know how drupal get to know which reply or comment is new or unread fjor a specific user.
I have a site www.beyondsatire.us that I would like upgraded from 4.7.2 to 6.x. Specifically, I would like all stories (including their URLs), polls, comments, and user accounts to survive the transition. I don't care about logs, nonstandard modules, spam settings, etc. Some downtime is fine. I can provide ftp, phpMyAdmin, cpanel, and DirectAdmin access. If interested, please send me a quote, timetable, and information about yourself (e.g., resume). You should be able to contact me through the contact feature. Thank you.
We have developed a site using drupal 4.7.x. I am planning to use Pingback module. But i am not seeing this module with this version. Please suggest me regarding this. Thank in advance
I have inherited a Drupal 4.7 site. I understand that to update it from 4.7 to 6 I have to do the intermediate step of upgrading to 5 and then again to 6.
I have just gone through and checked the modules installed. Many of the contributed modules that we are using are no longer supported. I was thinking of creating a fresh Drupal 6 install and somehow importing the content instead of upgrading. This is partly because I want to change the way the site works anyway.
