One of my users seems to have hit a ceiling when working on creating a page that has a lot of content: http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=scummvm
Is there a size (character) limit on a page?
If so is there a way to change it? Should it not be changed?
I need help with a bit of programming/scripting to link directly to a user's contact form. I'm trying to create a quick bit of code that will give me this kind of output /user/9/contact so that when someone looks at the page they can clink the link and it takes it to that profiles contact page.
I have a site setup. I have a taxonomy term named say movies. Then I have a list of terms for example. Drama, Documentary, Action, Horror.
Then I let people post and select which terms apply to their post.
Then on my front page I have a menu where each menu item matches one of the terms, and points that terms directory. So they link to /Drama.
What I want is to have the menu instead of just listing the menu items and linking to the stories that have that term selected, I would like a count of the posts in that category also. So instead of a menu like this:
I have a very strange issue with my site (http://www.bizhrguide.com) for several days. When I browse the site, I can see containers and categories. These are shown very quickly. But in categories, when I click to see a story inside the category, the browser starts to open the page, but it takes forever and nothing is open at the end.
I watched the log of the server, but there is no message. Nothing.
I am currently building a drupal site. Most of the site runs pretty quickly. However I recently installed the gmap module. Whenever when we visit the user map (map/user), the page loads very slowly. We need advice about increasing the speed of our site. We are going to be upgrading our server hardware to help this, however we also want to figure out script speed. Does anyone have any suggestions for speeding up our drupal site?
