I want to change my system to drupal 4.7 with the next release, and im currently looking for a nice way to migrate my data. There are around 100 nodes i have to import to the new site, which are mainly articles with images inside. Is there an API I can use to write a little import script or should I write directly to the database? Should I import the images as nodes, or should I just upload the files to any directory on the host? What do you think is the best way?
At click on the reference, Drupal hangs for 1-2-3 seconds, then quickly gives out result, others php applications on a server work instantly. A server in local 100mb networks.
Drupa 4.6-4.7 standart install.
Apache apache-2.0.55
php-5.0.5-r4
mysql-5.0.16-r3
FreeBSD 5.2 and last Gentoo
what to do?
Does anyone find it odd that I can create a role and enable the "administer users" check box. Then anyone with that ability can now edit the "Super User" (You know the first account created) and change their password and other fun stuff.
It seems to me that that account should be off limits. In fact, does anyone know how I can make that particular account off limits to editing when a role includes "administer users"?
