Video Module not working

I've installed the module into the module directory, created the mySql database within my drupal database, activated the video blocks - but can't enter the video settings page under the admin section - all I get is a blank page and under add content the video option doesn't appear.

Have been re-installing a drupal leaf theme on a site - I have 3 questions at present

Have a few problems with the Blog module. I can add blog entries as the main admin for the site but not as a registered user. I have set permissions in the access area for the use of editing blogs but I can't create a new blog entry.......

How to create links that would do two things when clicked?
1) set a session variable and execute some code
2) refresh the current page

These links will be displayed in a custom block.

I was wondering if anyone has drupal running on plesk 7.5 for windows? Or maybe what server software and control panels would be recommended. Drupal is the solutions we are looking at for our college website and I just want to make sure that the servers software I use will be the best for drupal.

I have not found information about image handling in the HEAD / CVS version of Drupal.

Wonder, which would be the module ready for 4.7 and which would allow best the inclusion of images, thumbnails etc.. Is tehre a "one-for-all" solution ?
