PHPTemplate theme in 4.7

I'm wanting to port my CSSimple theme (see http://drupal.org/node/34630) to 4.7

So I have a test site running the code I just checked out of CVS. I copy the cssimple theme files into the themes directory. admin/themes sees all the themes. I enable them, and select one as the default. It doesn't switch themes.

Oooohh... it's even deeper, because if I switch to a theme other than mine (e.g. to marvin or pushbutton) it still doesn't change.

I see no errors anywhere I can find.

can't add fields to flexinode

Hi,

I've just installed a CVS version of Drupal and a bunch of modules including flexinode (all from CVS). Everything seems to be working OK except that when I create a new content type in flexinode and then try to add fields to it I get:

"The requested URL /admin/node/field/ was not found on this server."

I don't have clean URL's turned on.

Can anyone point me to where my problem might exist?

Thanks

Is there an image/galley module working with latest Drupal 4.7?

I'm converting a static web brochure to Drupal and one of the pages is a gallery (single page of thumbnails, which when clicked opens the full size image in a pop-up). I want to stick with Drupal 4.7 because it's such a leap in terms of usability from 4.6 but I can't get any of the gallery solutions up and running. Has anyone had any success with the 3 main gallery solutions?

Actually I've just done a fresh install and even the image module comes up with the following:
