Pictures - Pictures - Pictures .....

Hi Guys,

I have installed the Upload, Image and Image Assist Modules. I can upload images fine and add them as you can see here:

http://www.tidalsound.com/az/

You may notice the picture is far right in both the Teaser and the story article itself.

Is it possible to NOT HAVE a picture appearing in the Teaser. OR Is it possible to have the Thumb appearing in the teaser and the large picture in the story article itself?

When I upload an Image via Image_assist I notice that one has to set the the INPUT FORMAT to 'Image Upload'. If set to anything else the image text link detail appears in the story / article as opposed to the image itself. Is this correct and normal?

When an Image is added to an article/story via the detail in the last paragraph I notice the CONTENT Option under Admin has both the article as type STORY and also a separate Image as type IMAGE added - by default the latter is set to appear on the front page unless one specifies to uncheck this option. Is this all correct and normal?

I added the Teaser and Teaser_Images Modules which seem to indicate they can solve these very issues. These modules get added to the MODULES OPTION in my Drupal Admin Section, but are not available in the ACCESS CONTROL Section to assign to user roles, whether this matters. Any ideas here?

Outside of Left / Right align of images embedded inside storys / pages - is their any better control of where images are placed and how they react with the text?

Is it possible to give a user access to only some "publishing options"

Hi,

I would like my users to be able to access only to some of "publishing options".
In fact I would like them to be able to uncheck "moderation queue", so the story will not be in modo queue, nor it will be published, but it will be in a state where they can edit it, until it is ready for them to put them in modo queue...

But to do that I have to give'em access to "node admin", so they can publish the story too, and I don't want this... and they even can change the date and the writer, I don't want this either...

Thanks

how do I get caught up with all this tech talk?

Ok, I'm setting up a few websites on Drupal. Dispite the fact that I've been using computers for years, I'm really not a hacker at all, and I'm finding all this a bit difficult to wrap my head around. I will probably never be a programmer or developer, but I would love to be a "power user" of drupal and computers in general.

Drupal themes cannot validate xhtml 1.0 strict?

Hi,

It seems there is a problem, I don't know if the problem comes from the current drupal theme (but I doubt it) or from drupal itsel... When I'm reading an article, there is a link which says I have to login to post comments. It seems this link does not support the xhtml 1.0 validation...

Look at this page :

And try to validate it with :
