I plan to upgrade from 4.7.0 to 4.7.7 and eventually to 5.2.
I do not have Drupal in a sub-directory. I have it directly under public_html directory. If I copy paste I will lose all contrib modules and themes. Can I copy paste the core drupal modules and leave the contrib modules. I plan to use the original .htaccess file, sites directory and files directory. Do i just copy paste the other Drupal directories and files
We run a network of druap websites - for example www.frostfirebuzz.com - we want to add feeds at the bottom of the page to our other sites (like what popusgar.com do) - does anyone know how to do this.
We would also like to use on the blocks to send users to other content by displaying an image from the post as a thumbnail in the block. Again popsugar do something similar. They have a block called stop stories that show a thumbnail and text to he story.
On one of the sites I made with Drupal, the person responsible of the content want to have a way to notify people of new content added to the site... I found the notify module but it uses the cron.php file to send notifications... In this particular case, a few people might be working on a post and saving it a few times, sometimes on a different day, and they want to send the notification only once, when everything is done manually.
I want to have all the content in the same page with blocks or whatever, when i view a news with "Opel" i can see the last classifieds, gallery, videos, and when i view an opel photo, i can view last opel news etc
