Drupal 4.7.x

When I add a drop down menu bar in the header there is a big padded area above and beneath the bar. Is there anyway that I can get rid of that?

Thing to do:

1. Make a BLOCK that shows of All Artist (i h0pe anyone could guide me how to make this)
2. Make a BLOCK that shows of All Album Random (i h0pe anyone could guide me how to make this)
3. please suggest

I have noticed a whole thread of posts on this, but none seem to help : http://drupal.org/node/105114 This has only happened in the past 48 hours or so, so if might be some upgrade. It may well be a the server end, they have had a look, but they don't support 3rd party software :(

The server is running Apache version 1.3.41 (Unix) PHP version 5.2.5
MySQL version 4.1.22-standard

Hello I have a drupal website using PHP 4.4.7 and Drupal 4.7.6.
My ISP is migrating all it's accounts to PHP 5. Do I need to upgrade to a new version of Drupal?
Or will it just work?

in my module i made a port to for the views module with using the nodevote module (iam using drupal 4.7)
