I noticed at the bottom of the file system path settings is this statement:
Changing this location after the site has been in use will cause problems so only change this setting on an existing site if you know what you are doing.
I created a test Drupal site, loaded up some nodes with images (module CCK & Imagefield) using the default /files folder. After doing this I changed the path to my files (/new-files) and copied all uploaded images to the new directory.
British Petroleum (BP) is proposing a massive coalbed methane (CBM) development in the Flathead and Elk Valleys at the heart of the Crown of the Continent in BC's Southern Rocky Mountains. If BP's "Mist Mountain" CBM project goest to production this special place could be lost forever.

I just moved my Drupal site to a new server. Everytime I log into my account it says I have a new Private Message. Only problem is it is always the same message.
I've create quite a few drupal sites and never had this problem.
I was editing my site as per usual not doing anything out of the ordinary or installing new things - and suddenly my pages just wouldn't fully load. They open but don't show. Like drupal is getting stuck on something right at the end.
