Has anybody used it?

I'm trying to store CSS, JS and image files on a subdomain. When I enter ../mysubdomain.mysite.com at admin>site configuration>file system Drupal creates the appropriate files/folders in this directory, however it appends a forward slash, /, onto the directory structure.

So, my CSS code at the top of the page reads:

/../mysubdomain.mysite.com/files/css/a316cffec060fde51ba492ae873d31aa.css

instead of:

../mysubdomain.mysite.com/files/css/a316cffec060fde51ba492ae873d31aa.css

Is there any way of dealing with this?

About 2 weeks ago a site I run started to experience performance issues. I have traced it to what looks like a mysql issue. When I ssh into my server and look at Top mysqld is always at like 50% of the CPU usage and is often totally unresponsive. I need someone to take a look at it and figure out why the database load is suddenly so high and fix the root cause of the issue. Please email me with hourly rates or a bid to get this solved, along with a proposed plan of attack (stated briefly).

I'm getting ready to do a site, with three different areas. One section of the web site is for everyone - public to the world, one section is for parents who can see everything on the site, and then one group is for children, who can see everything EXCEPT for the parents section.

It's been hard for a noob to search through everything here, but it seems like I want to install Taxonomy Access Control with version 5.x because there is no module for the 6 or 7 versions of Drupal.
