Sending Newsletter Problems!

Hello,

When i send a newsletter from the fck editor on Drupal the recipient receives it with a bunch of html coding, different spacing and without the links in the original text. It looks fine when i put it together and even on the preview screen but when i click submit and send it...something happens on that transmssion and the content comes out looking very different and difficult to read.

I was told it is a problem with Drupal configuration. Can someone help me with cleaning this up?

WIKI:

FTPs faster and easier cousin

I wanted to post this because I keep forgetting how to do it and would like my own quick reference, and because others might find it helpful.

So....if you're on a Mac and uploading lots of files to your drupal site (modules, photos, etc) the easy way is to upload the tar.gz file and unzip it on the folder.

the best way to upgrade from 4.5.2

Hello,
I am resurrecting an old website and am wondering the best path to upgrade to the present. Also, should I upgrade to 6.4 or 5.10?
My existing site is fairly straightforward, mostly consisting of a weblog with categories etc.

thank you for any help

Determine theme based on referring URL?

Somebody asked me today whether there was a way to have the theme of a specific page be determined by the referring URL. So for instance, if somebody arrives at Page 1 from Site A, they'll see Page 1 skinned by Theme X. However, if they arrive at Page 1 from Site B, they'll see the same content in Page 1, by this time it'll have Theme Y applied to it.

I know Taxonomy themes will allow you to use multiple themes in a given site. But is there a way (even in theory if not in practice) to permit there to be multiple themes for a given PAGE, determined by the referring URL?
