I'm having feelings about building a project using Drupal and I thought I'd better ask the community before getting hands on, so I'd basically love to hear opinions. Quick background:
Hello I'm new to drupal. I am trying to install drupal 7(7.40) with "PostgreSQL 9.5.1 on x86_64-apple-darwin14.5.0, compiled by Apple LLVM version 7.0.2 (clang-700.1.81), 64-bit" on MAMP (free version).
I'm able to select postgresql database, user name and password through the install.php. However the installation gets stuck on 50% and I get the following error:
Hi my name is Tom and I have a drupal website for one of my small businesses.
I need help with it for both maintenance and hosting, as I have no idea how to work with Drupal or any kind of hosting situation.
I am located in Pennsylvania, on East Coast Time and would like someone I can talk to whenever needed.
The site is getting old - 2010 it was made, and has maintenance needs plus I would like to do a few improvements, and it seems now that the hosting company is going out of business so I need to move the site.
I am actually building a site in Drupal using a online Theme builder Template Toaster.
I read out somewhere that rather then editing a Drupal Theme,we should add a sub theme in it.
Is it fine to add a sub theme & how to do it ? I am new to it and generally need urgent help.
