This post is mostly market research, since we are considering starting with high end PHP hosting. We have ideas and skills to make a "PHP cloud" that can serve almost any Drupal installation with the no_anon module enabled and a special module provided by us to allow serving millions of page views for anonymous users. We plan to provide memcache and NDB mysql table engine.
You pay for how many server instances you need to run plus bandwidth and storage.
We are having an issue with a clients account - we can login to their account ok and have identified that our clients login is the super user account but when we click on the menu pages to edit it comes up with the following error message "you are not authorized..."
Is there any way to overide this glitch and reset the "super user" account or create another account login and make it the "super user" acocunt?
Any step by step/ link information is valued - thanks in advance!
We are attempting to update a current site for a client and have been given the Username and Password and Drupal allows us to login ok, however when we attempt to update Content or anything else in the Menu a message saying "you are not authorized" appears and you can go no further.
Could anyone with any knowledge on this please guide us with some valuable information on how to overcome this stumbling block? If there is any step by step points available or any useful links I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks in advance and hope to hear from anyone soon!
I assume that the version of Drupal I have is a very old one, circa 2005. Website has worked fine with it and continues to do so. Snag is that I have asked a web design company to do some site edits, I've given them the Username and Password as given to me by the original company and Drupal allows you to Login OK. However when you attempt to Update Content or anything else in the Menu a message saying "you are not authorized" appears and you can go no further.

My volunteer group is making a website for our nonprofit using Drupal. We already have Drupal installed on our localhosts and have a theme in mind.
