Drupal 4.5.x or older

I was wondering if Drupal would be a good CMS to use for running a PBEM (play by email) RPG? Player's actions are carried out normally by email and then staff update the site by hand to reflect changes. Could Drupal automate much of the player's actions and leave the staff to work on other important things? Such an action normally done by players and updated by staff is travel. When a player moves from one location to another a staff member has to calculate time and post how long it will take.

I'd like to upgrade faunapolis.org from 4.5 to 5.1.

These are the critical modules installed:
- CCK (text, imagefield, date, etc.)
- Contemplate
- Views
- Gmap (API)
- Location
- Imagecache
- Taxonomy

I've had a problem with people having to login twice to get in, which fortunately has kept spammer out, but also has hurt the usability of the site.

Forgive me ive just moved across from PHPwebsite where I was working with 'branch sites' a site in a side with different privledges etc.

If there something in drupal simular? want to a site for sudents and a sealed section for committy members...

I have looked around a bit for some help to see if there is a conversion path from PHPwebsite (PHPWS) 10.2 or 1.2 to Drupal im a recent conversion from phpwebsite and would like some help if there is anyway i can convert my sites..

Please if anyone could help it would be much appreicated.

I have a page node that I use for a contact form but it has an adsense block on it from a previous time. I cannot get it to go away. I have turned off cacheing (actually it was never on) and it's still there, I have disabled all blocks, it's still there. I can viewe the html of the node in tinymc and there is no adsense code there, but, when I am preview mode, and I view the page source, I do find the adsense code in the nodes section.
