Duplicate entry for users... can't create new users (phpnuke > drupal)

The last error to fix!

I don't know what to fix.

This is my error:

Duplicate entry '4' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO users (name, mail, pass, init, status, created, uid) VALUES ('rivena', 'mystavash@something.com', '9d10ee70f7118f39470ddadb5', 'mystavash@something.com', 1, 1147798805, 4) in /www/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 120.

I almost wonder why it bothers talking about line 120, it never has anything to do with anything, it just generates the error. ;p

How do I configure Views to give me a page that lists multiple nodes under multiple category term headings?

I've set up my taxonomies successfully and have installed the Views module, which I've used to generate certain archives with no problem. I'm having trouble, however, replicating this archive from the old site: http://frodosnotebook.com/subject.html.

Here's the deal: On the site I'm setting up, nodes of type "book page" can be categorized under multiple terms from the voculary "Subject." So, for instance, a poem can be categorized as having to do with subjects like "Family" and "Relatives," and maybe "Relationships" to boot.

What I'd like to do is set up a view page that will list all the subject terms as headings, with all the book pages that fall under a particular term listed beneath the term heading. The existing page (linked above) is the best example of what I'm after, but here's a quick replication:

Family

My Family Rules by John Smith
I Hate My Parents by Spanky McGhee

Relationships

I Love My Girlfriend by Jonathan Googlsmidt
My Family Rules by John Smith
I Hate My Parents by Spanky McGhee

Zebras

Zebras are Awesome by Tooton Malutin

I've got a strong feeling that Views can handle this, I'm just not sure how to configure it to generate such a page, but the Views handbook pages don't explain how, and I haven't been able to find any earlier forum posts about it. Can anyone tell m

from typo3

I would love to move away from typo3, we have a few sites we programmed in typo3 before we decided it was a pig to work with and wouldn't suit our purposes after all. I've done a search but I don't see any import tool that will convert typo3 into drupal. I know we'd probably need to go back a make some tweaks, but if someone's already put together something to do most of the work, that'd be really handy.

Joomla Community Builder: Equivalent in Drupal?

Hello all. Newbie to Drupal here, moving from a Mambo (Joomla) site.

A conversation regarding this was started here:
http://drupal.org/node/46466 but it had gone a bit off-topic from the original post, so I thought I would create a new topic.

I currently have an Artists Directory that I need to move over:
http://www.canadianartsnet.com/arts/component/option,com_comprofiler/tas...

I'm wondering what the best way to accomplish this is in Drupal. Basically, this is what I need to do:

1) Import my users, ideally with the configurable fields as well as standard (username/password etc.)

2) Create profile with configurable fields (I can see already that this is possible with standard installation of Drupal)

3) List those users that have filled in particular fields, grouped by category (as at website above). Not all of my users wish to be listed in the Artists Directory though. List needs to include a thumbnail of their avatar and be searchable (or at least filterable).

4) Each item on list leads to the profile for that individual with contact information etc.

5) Eventually, I would like to create similar lists for organizations, as well as the capability for users to add small portfolios of images to their accounts and one or two audio clips. Ideally profiles could be expanded eventually to include buddylists etc.

I have installed and played around with CiviCRM and it seems to be a possibility but since it is geared towards charities etc., it might be a bit of overkill for my purposes (and I wouldn't need to use much of it).

Converting dynamic links and functions to Drupal

I'm in the process of converting a site from a *nuke flavor to Drupal and am running into a few snags... I certainly don't have a desire to rewrite large portions of code in order to convert exsiting stuff. New stuff is another matter entirely.

I'm having two problems with linking... in *nuke you do this:
