okay, I'm moving an old custom forum across into drupal 4.7, and have written a couple of scripts that move the relevant fields from the old database into the drupal one.
The tables I've moved data into are...
* node
* node_revisions
* forum
* term_node
...and everything looks pretty good, up to the point of trying to see the forum topic listed in the relevant forum.
I am in the process of converting a site from Sharepoint services over to drupal. In Sharepoint, there is this thing called a document library. (for those not familiar with them) Essentially they are a place to upload files such that they are easy to identify and navigate through once they're uploaded. There is also some check in / check out / history functionality in there that I am less interested in.
Hello all I am trying to convert to a CRM and drupal is the one for me.... I am having problems trying to find the way to limit access to menu items and such.
I'm playing with converting a website I maintain to Drupal. The static pages are no problem but I'm not sure how to go about converting the dynamic content. Here are the things I need to convert:
directories containing text, PDF and mov files with index.php files which dynamically list the contents
forms which generate text files
forms which generate php content
Ideally I would like the forms to create drupal content.
I need only a few basic things in a CMS. I am using Joomla but Joomla fails in one major area: It cannot have multi-lingual content AND SEO Friendly urls at the same time. The other areas of concern with Joomla are easier to deal with :)
I am looking for a package that:
1. Can have multi-lingual content EASILY
2. Search Engine Friendly URLs
3. Excellent Template and presentation abilities
4. Enable me to easily add content
5. Great catalogue of items for sale with more than 1 picture per item (does not need to be ecommerce enabled).
Well here is my problem, not really a problem I need to migrate my website that I developed into a drupal site. the site is http://housing.uah.edu Now the questions that I would like to know is that this is a full feature website. It includes basicly an intranet system for the staff to be able to manage the residents on campus and assign them to rooms, and maintenance also.
