porting of old html files

I just installed my new drupal site.
I have a lot of html files that I need to reuse from my old website
My question is: creating a new menu item, how can I refer to this item an html file to be opened within the main drupal "frame"?

thx

Converting from Xoops - similar features available in Drupal?

I had a lovely Xoops site but unfortunately it got hacked... and the server owner has asked me to re-install everything from scratch. Unfortunately I had made lots of modifications to the modules and, in any event, would need to install 2.0.15 rather than 2.2.x which has been discontinued. So, rather than do it essentially from scratch in xoops I looked around and was impressed by the focus on security here.

Before I get stuck in, I'd like to know the best way of obtaining similar results from Drupal. My site had the following features (I have included the module names for anyone familiar with xoops):

MAIN PAGE:

TOP LEFT: Menu (multimenu module) which, when an option is selected, displays 'sub'-options. Options were Home, Articles (extra options were the categories), Forums, Links, Search, User account, Contact.

TOP CENTRE: Welcome text - a few paragraphs.

BOTTOM CENTRE: Ten most recent forum posts, and ten most recent comments (on articles/links).

TOP RIGHT: Five most recent articles.

BOTTOM RIGHT: Five most recent links.

ARTICLES: (xfsection module)

Approximately ten categories with (so far) approximately five to ten articles in each. The main Articles page showed every article title divided into categories; it was possible to click the category name (for category details and article summaries) or the article title (to read it). A little image for each category.

Comment date/time change

Hello,

I've imported a load of stuff from another CMS, and tagged it all up and changed things round a bit - and I've just noticed the times on the imported comments are wrong.

Has anyone written a module to allow you to edit comment dates/times?

Javascript onload in 4.7

I'm trying to incorporate Project 7's Pop Menu Magic into a new drupal 4.7 install. I've managed to get it to work, but the product requires the use of the handler.

As some others have pointed out, this breaks the collapsable settings in the admin, and possibly other things by wiping out the dynamic onload handlers set in the JS files. I've tried using the code from addLoadEvent to chain Pop Menu Magic's init function with the drupal ones. The problem is, P7's product just doesn't work reliably if the function is not called from .
